Popular digital video creator Eve Mungai left her fans with mixed reactions after claiming that she has a child back in her rural home.

The young social media influencer made the shocking revelation on Wednesday evening accompanied by a photo whereby she was holding a child whose face had been concealed.

“I can’t hide it again, I have a child in the village,” she stated on Insta stories.

Popular gossip site, Nairobi gossip club, shared her story but she was quick to respond saying that it was all a joke.

“Eey hamjui jokes,” Eve reacted.

A section of Netizens were however unconvinced that Eve actually had a child. One said that she had also joined the popular clout chasing trend.

“Pia yeye anatoa kiki ndio arelease content,” Arissa Collins said.

Another netizen claimed that the photo was taken when Eve was interviewing Baha’s former girlfriend Georgina Njenga.

“Nani hajui nyumba ya kina Georgina na hizo viti she must have taken the photo back then when she interviewed Georgina,”Jaynne Nimmo said.

Eve responded to the comment saying, “aaaai” accompanied by laughing emojis.

Eve and her boyfriend Trevor are however planning to be parents from 2028 if God wills.The couple called upon their fans to stop pressuring them to have children saying that they will not help in raising the children.

“If you’re not yet ready to have children getting pregnant can be your worst nightmare because having a baby will change your life forever. Similarly, it maybe scary to get a glimpse of the supreme power of you’re not ready, You will lose yourself and a new you will emerge,” Director Trevor  said previously.

“You all should stop telling us to get children like the rest have, everyone has their life plans and again being a woman doesn’t mean your purpose is only to get children!! everyone at their own pace. Let everyone live their life as they wish nobody will ever help you raise that kid when you give birth,”Eve said on the other hand.
