Comedian Eric Omondi is set to drop a high end music video this Friday in collaboration with socialite Amber Ray.
According to Eric, the music video cost him Kshs3.8 million and it is titled P*$$ies, which is a diss to Kenyan artists.
“This Friday at 10am we will show the INDUSTRY what a 3.8 Million Video looks like. We have done a Song with @iam_amberay just to show the Industry how it’s done #P*SSIES,” the comedian shared on Instagram.
He noted that the essence of the video is to show Kenyan artists what they are supposed to be doing. He added that he had tried using other means to help them but they were still letting the country down.
“Mnafanyanya video shoddy. Khaligraph unafanya video kwa car park umekuwa bouncer. Nimekuja kuwaonyesha what you are supposed to do. Niliongea story ya 15% na content creators na hamna show mnarely kwa YouTube na hamtaki kuspport hio agenda, mmenyamaza hapo. Nataka kufaya video moja kuwaonyesha what you are supposed to do. Nimesacrifice pesa yangu,” Eric Omondi said.
“The reason for hii ngoma ni just to show you, mimi si musician, how a video is supposed to look. Audio imefanyiwa South Africa imekuwa mastered US hawa wazungu anashoot hii video wanatoka UK,” he added.
