East Africa’s popular musician Diamond Platnumz is in Kenya for Oktoba Fest 2023, which kicked off on Friday at Ngong Racecource.
Diamond arrived in the country on Friday night and he will be headlining the event on Saturday.
After his arrival, the Bongo singer had a brief session with digital reporters where he opened up about several matters including his family and work.
One of the things he was questioned about was him hanging out with Zari and her husband Shakib recently.
“It’s good we have to show the positive side of everything na hatutakiwi kuwa watu kama miaka ya nyuma watu negative people. We have to show how positive we are na kuonyesha kwamba unatakiwa kusupport watu hio ndio inaonyesha maana ya kuwa muAfrica Mashariki. Inaonyesha kiasi gani una hekima, busara na upendo,” he responded.

Another interviewer questioned him about Naseeb Junior, his son with Kenyan songbird Tanasha Donna, being his favourite child.
“He is my last born so unajua sometimes lazima umbembeleze si yeye mdogo wengine wakubwa wengine wamekuwa wakienjoy muda mrefu. Ndugu zake, kaka ke dadake wote wanampenda,” Diamond said.
He also confirmed that all his children are living with their mothers but he always finds time to spend with them no matter how busy he is.
“Watoto wangu wote wanaishi na mama zao but as a proud dad wakati mwingine nawachakua I spend time with him. I think Kudedicate muda wako tu. No mater how busy you can be lazima utakuwa na muda wa kufanya vitu so mimi nina muda wa kuspend na watoto wangu. Doesn’t matter how busy I can be, I am flying everyday lazima nitenge mda wa kuona there is nothing that can make me busy nisionane na watoto wangu, haiwezekani.
“I can fly them anywhere, I can fly with them, I can fly there coz hio ndio furaha, furaha sio fedha, magari kwasababu magari hayawezi kunisaidia baadaye, at the end of the day yatakuwa old, hata nyumba ukijenga lakini watoto wako wanakuwa wanakusaidia,” Diamond said.
