Bongo Flavor superstar Diamond Platinumz has for the first time congratulated Harmonize for bagging three awards in the just concluded African Entertainment Awards held, that was held in America.
Despite Harmonize exiting the Wasafi label, his former boss has expressed enthusiasm of his achievements where he said that he is honoured that the talent he nurtured is being celebrated internationally.
“Ni furaha kubwa kuona vipawa nizochipua ziking’aa hadi mataifa ya njee , msanii Harmonize kushinda tuzo tatu mfululizo ni furaha kubwa kwetu licha ya kuwa aliondoka wasafi tunafurahi kwa mafanikio yake kwangu najivunia kwani alikuwa mwanangu niliyemlea kimuziki,” he said while introducing a new singer from his record label.
After ditching Wasafi, Harmonize launched his own label, Konde Music World Wide. He won 3 awards in the African Entertainment Awards where thwarted other musical giants in Africa.
Platnumz and his team formally announced singer and songwriter D-Voice Ginii as their newest signee on Thursday night.
D-Voice, who is no stranger to the Bongo Flava industry, has released an album titled “Swahili Kid” to the globe.
The 10-track album features Diamond Platnumz, Zuchu, Lava Lava, and Mbosso –all from WCB Wasafi.
The singer has been unveiled after a year plus of being coached and sharpened by the WCB team under Chibu Dangote’s leadership.
Before being picked by Platnumz, D-Voice was a fast-rising Singeli singer in Tanzania.
Singeli sometimes called Sengeli is a Tanzanian music genre that originated with the Zaramo in the Mtogole neighborhood of the Tandale ward in Kinondoni District of Dar es Salaam Region around the mid-2000s.
Singeli is a ngoma music and dance where an MC performs over fast-tempo taarab music.
