Showmax Kenya has unveiled names of the female Kenyan celebrities that will be featured on The Real Housewives Of Nairobi reality show.
The show will focus on the five women’s flashy lifestyles, careers and relationship. It is set to be launched on February 23 with fresh episodes being released every Thursday.
In a post shared on Instagram, Showmax revealed that Vera Sidika, Susan Kaittany, Sonal Maherali, Lisa Christoffersen and Minne Kariuki are the cast of The Real Housewives of Nairobi.
Sidika is a renowned socialite and businesswoman who is based in Mombasa. Very soon she will be a mother of two and she is married to singer Brown Mauzo. Sidika is also a part time musician and has been featured in reality shows previously. She is also the CEO of Veetox and VS spa in Mombasa.
Kaittany is a former business partner and friend of media personality Betty Kyallo. She is a lawyer by profession but she ditched the career and is currently focusing on lifestyle, travel and beauty entrepreneurship. She is also a mother of two.
Christoffersen is an interior designer, author, business owner, rally driver and luxury safari curator. She is the founder of Lifestyle Nairobi.
Karuiki is the youngest of the cast and she is an actress. She is married with and has two daughters. On the other hand, Maherali luxury influencer, brand influencer fashion collector and entrepreneur. The mother of four is a founder of Simba Maharani and shoe, a popular cloth brand.
Showmax Content Specialist in East Africa said that they picked the five women because they are not ashamed to live large and are very hardworking.
“Each of the ladies has a strong personality and sure identity of themselves. They are hardworking, affluent, influential and unapologetic women who are not ashamed to live large and live well because they have earned it. They’re also a representation of the diverse communities we have in Kenya,” Mwende said.
