Harambee stars and Sofapaka right back Baron Ochieng is set to complete a move to Sweden’s top-tier outfit Vasteras SK.

Ochieng who is one of the Fast rising players in the country has one year left on his contract with Sofapaka but according to a reliable source, Vasteras are willing to buy it out if he passes medical tests and other regulatory processes upon his arrival.

Baron who is also Kenya U18 player earned his call up to the National team recently.

Baron is set to leave the Country next week, and he is expected to feature in various Pre season games with Vasteras.

The Defender has been on a steady rise over the last nine months, during which he represented Kenya at the CECAFA U18 tournament where Junior Stars bagged a Silver.

In March he was part of the U20  that participated in the four Nations tournament in Malawi.

Last weekend Baron was part of the Sofapaka squad that defeated Naivas 2-0 on aggregate in the FKF Premier League Relegation Playoffs
