Singer Bahati and his wife Diana were to tie the knot on December 12, 2023, during Jamhuri Day celebrations.
The couple felt it was time to walk down the aisle after clocking 7 years in marriage. The two solidified their union in 2017 in a traditional ceremony, that was only attended by close family members and friends.
According to Diana, they previously didn’t go for a white wedding because their children were young. The mother of three said that they wanted that their children to “understand the significance of their parents walking down the aisle before making it official.”
On the date that they were to officially wed, they however surprised their fans with photos and videos from a wedding. The couple were part of the bridal team for the wedding of award winning music and film director Ritchie and his lover Rena Solomon.
Commenting on the wedding, Bahati noted that it could have been their day, but they were glad to be on their line-up as they learn more before their own wedding.
“Today was to be our Wedding Day but…… Congratulations to our friends @Directorritchie na @RenaSolomon We’re glad to be part of your Line-Up as we take notes on how we are going to Present to you Our Big Day 💑 New Wedding Dates Loading,” he wrote on Instagram.
Bahati and Diana have however unveiled new plans for their wedding.
Diana was the first to share about the plans in her own Instagram account.
“I Can’t wait for the day I’ll Say YES I DO to my BestFriend @BahatiKenya ❤️ I Love You Baby ❤️ 2024 IS GONNA BE #THEBAHATIS YEAR 💍💃🏻,” Diana captioned a set of her photos with her husband, from Ritchie’s wedding.

Commenting on Diana’s post, Bahati vowed that their wedding will be in 2024.
