Babu Owino alias Paul Ongili , the Member of Parliament Embakasi East constituency is resuming his annual online tuition for KCPE candidates

The controversial politician took to his largely followed X account to share the news of the resumption of the online coaching classes.

Sharing the dates set for the tuition to premier, Owino stated that he was determined to ensure that all students would do well in the Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education exams.

The vibrant lawmaker said the classes will be streamed live on his social media platforms beginning Monday, October 23 at 7.30pm.

” I am back, students must pass KCPE/KCSE EXAMS. We will premier KCPE mathematics revision on Monday from 7.30pm.” the MP announced.

 The lawmaker launched the online classes initiative at the height of Covid -19 which forced students to stay at home for a prolonged period of time.

In the absence of school and teachers, the former student leader took  it upon himself to prepare the candidates for the upcoming examinations.

His creative initiative that constituted him coaching the candidates on science and mathematics subjects received acknowledgment from the United Nations and the Voice of America.

“The situation has seen different people device mechanisms of ensuring students continue to learn while staying home. Babu Owino is a Kenyan MP who has decided to use his talent in science subjects to educate students using his social media platforms,” his feature in the Voice Of America read in part.

Babu Owino is a scholar whose love for education is known far and wide. He  boasts of four high profile degrees including one in actuarial science and another in law.
