Controversial comedian  Eric Omondi who was one part and parcel of massive demonstration witnessed in Kenya over harsh economic times has continued to give hints of his political career.

During an interview Eric hinted at potential aspirations on the now talked after Langata constituency.”Anything is possible before adding that he has been hearing alot of stories about Langa’ta.

“Hii Lang’ata  nimeskia  sana bwana Ankaro….na nikishaenda huko naiskia, nikienda huku naishia mi mwenyewe nimepigwa na butwaa. Mhh.. mimi ninaiskia. Sijasema hata naitamani,lakini sasa imeshaanza kunisumbua akili unaelewa? Maanake naiskia saana. Ushaenda mahali halafu unaenda kushoto nunaiskia, kulia unaiskia,” said Eric.

He further added that peoples voices are the voices of God and he has heard the voice which will have him put the constituency in consideration.

“Ushaona kwa nini nimeanza kuifikiria mwanangu? That is the reason  nimeeanza kuifikiria. Naifikiria na si mimi tu. Tunafikiria tuingue huko ndani tuwaondoe wote,” responded Eric in an interview

The potential aspiring  member of Parliament also revealed  that Ida Odinga groomed him and Hon Raila Odinga gave him wisdom of the elderly.

Lang’ata constituency has been making headlines especially after the incumbent Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwour was  put on the book by his party Orange Democratic Movement over gross misconduct.

After receiving the dismissal the  MP widely known as Jalang’o due to his acting and radio role revealed he will still push on and serve the residents of Lang’ata

“No trial is too heavy to lift! No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it,” he said in a social media post.

Jalang’o is among five ODM members  accused of violating the party’s constitution and the Political Parties Act  2011 by openly associating with and supporting activities of a rival political outfit, as well as opposing lawful decisions made by party organs.

Apart from Eric Omondi popular creator Andrew Kibe also revealed his plans to vie for the same seat.
