Tanzania Bongo sensation Ali Kiba has hinted that his  marriage to Amina Khalef is still strong.

Speaking to the media about his upcoming Kenyan tour to celebrate 20 years in music, the artist was asked what he loves Kenya apart from the beautiful Kenyan.

The Mahaba hitmaker was astonished by the question but said that he is married and it is known by the public. He however noted that he is ready for anything that might happen.

“Guys, are you serious? Okay, no comment. No comment on that. Kujeni tu, chochote kitakachotokea ndio hicho hicho tu. Guys, I’m married, mnajua lakini chochote kinaweza kikatokea, mambo mazuri and I’m ready,” he responded.

Ali Kiba’s remarks on his marriage comes 7 months after his wife announced that she was finally free,  hinting that their divorce case had pushed through. Amina filed for divorce early last year at a Mombasa Kadhi’s court , saying she left her matrimonial home in October 2018. According to her, she took the step because of her mental health while pregnant and also due to constant conflict with Ali Kiba’s family.

Meanwhile, on his Kenyan tour, Ali Kiba said that he will start  from Naivasha. Other places that he will be making stops will be announced in due course. He also acknowledged Kenyans for supporting his music career.

“Lakini kiukweli lazima nije kuifanya Kenya kwasababu kuna kitu kikubwa nilipata Kenya. Walinisupport nikaonekana kabisa kwamba ni msanii kutoka East Africa lakini wengi walikuwa proud sana na mimi mpaka nikaonekana kwamba mimi ni mkenya. Mapenzi ambayo wamenionyesha wakenya nimeridhika, nikafurahi, nikafeel comfortable  kuwa around na wakenya mpaka sahi nikaona niwafanyie hii kitu nianze tour Kenya hii miaka ishirini,” he said.
