Nelly Oaks

Nelly Oaks, known for his association with Kenyan singer Akothee and his ownership of the popular 727 Restaurant and Bar, is now on the spotlight as allegations of mismanagement and unpaid wages  emerge.

According to an expose by Edgar Obare, employees of the 727 Restaurant and Bar have come forward with troubling claims of exploitation and non-payment of their wages. Several former and current staff members allege that they have endured unfavourable working conditions and are owed unpaid salaries, some for several months.

The accusations have shed light on the management practices within the establishment. Former employees have accused Nelly Oaks of failing to adhere to labor laws and ethical standards in the treatment of his staff. These claims include irregular working hours, substandard employee benefits, and alleged mistreatment.

One employee, who wished to remain anonymous, stated, “We have been subjected to harsh working conditions, with no regard for our rights as employees. We have not received our wages for several months, which has left us in financial distress.”

The allegations have generated a significant amount of public attention, with many calling for transparency and accountability from the management of 727 Restaurant and Bar. Social media platforms have been inundated with comments and reactions from concerned patrons and individuals within the entertainment industry.

Nelly Oaks has not yet responded to the allegations publicly, and it remains to be seen how he will respond to the claims and potential legal repercussions.
