Milly Wa Jesus’ husband, Kabi, has been forced to address claims of being paid millions to be part of Akothee’s wedding line-up.

This is after Milly publicised her expensive rate card for those who want to hire her and her husband for weddings

Kabi said KRA had called him because of that. He however noted that they were not paid by Akothee because she is their personal friend.

“I am still recovering from the beautiful wedding 🥰🥰 of @akotheekenya it was such an honour to be on the lineup alafu nimepigiwa simu na KRA kwa sababu ya rate card ya @millywajesus 😅 Just to be clear hii ya Akothe hatukulipwa she’s our personal friend tukianza kulipwa lazima tulipe tax,” Kabi said.

Milly wa Jesus shocked netizens when she said that she is charging Kshs360,000 to be a bridesmaid for a half a day. For a full day, she charges a million and  kshs 3 million to be the best couple on the wedding day alone. For couple lineup, she is charging Ksh2 million. The After party, social media posts and bridal consultation/shopping  one will have to pay Milly Kshs360,000, Kshs1,500,000 and Kshs 125,000(per day) respectively.

Milly said that she came up with the rates after Akothee’sd wedding. According to her, many people had reached out to her to enquire about her being on their wedding lineups.

“Bridesmaid for hire! Mtafika bei 😂?After @akotheekenya wedding I now have a rate card for being in your line up (Swipe Left To See Rate Card) I am getting soo many enquiries on being on people’s lineup so please check the rates on last slide and get in touch,” she said on Tuesday.
