Content creator Milly Wa Jesus was recently trolled for asking her fans to help in raising funds for her young brother’s wedding.

Many netizens ganged against her since her call for contributions came not not long before she was surprised by a Range Rover Discovery by her husband Kabi Wa Jesus.

Speaking to Mpasho during the launch of Oh Sister, a reality show featuring gospel artists, Milly addressed the subject saying fundraising for wedding was not new to her.

She noted that she shared the phone number for fans to channel contributions innocently.

“For us we are so big on marriage so you are going to see us suggest such things and then I came to realise si kitu ya kila mtu and that’s not how people take things, mimi nilikuwa tu nashare hiyo number innocently then kidogo kidogo I am asking people to finance my brother’s wedding,” adding that, “I believe in people financing other’s wedding and our wedding was fully financed by people and for me its not new.”

In her call for contribution, the mother of two urged fans to send in their contribution for the success of the white wedding

“Here is the phone number where you can send your contributions towards Leone and Diana white wedding that is coming up soon. Make sure you follow up with a message saying it’s for Leon’s wedding from Wa Jesus family. Let’s be a blessing to this young man and God will bless us while we are at it,” Milly Wa Jesus said.
