Former Kiss FM presenter Lynda Nyangweso decided to ‘come out of the closet’ and reveal that she is bisexual.

Bisexual refers to an individual who is attracted to both female and male genders on matters of sexual and romantic relations.

Nyangweso said that she had never come out before since she is currently married to a man. She however maintained that rights of the queer people are still human rights.

“As a bisexual woman, I have never real had to come out because I am married to a man but this time isn’t the time to mince words . LGBTQIA rights are human rights. I will say that again. LGBTQIA rights are human rights. No ifs ands or buts,” she wrote on her Insta stories.

At the same time, she said that Uganda’s move to criminalize LGBTQ should worry Kenya.

“Seeing what is happening in Uganda should worry us here in Kenya. LGBTQIA rights are already so compromised and its naive to think that one of the hateful agendas that unites government and opposition won’t mean legislated hate here. No one should be forced back into or forced out of the closet. LGBTQIA rights are human rights,” Nyangweso stated.

The media personality left Kiss FM in May 2021 after 11 years at the Radio Africa owned station. She got married to Lance Osiro in a colorful wedding in June, 2016. The couple was blessed with a daughter a year later.
