Through Githaiga Kigondu &Advocates Nicah the queen made the matter legal and the suit outlined all the damages cost by the Luo artists statements and actions.

In one of his posts Emma Jalamo posted Nicah’s pic and captioned it ”Jaoda” which translates to my wife in Luo.

The ”Jaoda” caption attracted about 5000, comments of which the advocates apparently scrutinized and noted that they indeed spoilt Nicah’s reputation as a gospel artist, a mother and a wife which Jalamo has to be charged for.

The advocates in their 7 days notice to Jalamo also noted that the post made their client look like a prostitute and an infidel woman who does not respect her marriage.

” The said words were understood to mean that our client is immoral, unfaithful married woman with appetite for extramarital affairs, and therefore not deserving to be a gospel artist. The words posted on Facebook circulated by you and your followers intended to defame our client. By publishing and distributing the post, you have caused damage to our client’s hard earned reputation” read the statement by the law firm.
