Pastor Victor Kanyari is breathing fire after Bungoma Goliath Isaac Wekesa claimed that the preacher gave him Kshs8,000 to fake fainting while he was praying for him a few weeks ago.
Goliath made the allegations shortly after landing a job at a city club through the intervention of Nairobi County’s Environment Chief Geoffrey Mosiria.
“Msichana anaitwa Kawira alianiambia nakupeleka kwa Kanyari ukifika huko ukianguka unalipwa,” he told Mosiria.
Addressing the claims, Kanyari called out Goliath for tainting his image and that of his church. He also revealed that Goliath left his church with over Kshs40,000, which was to help him settle rent among other bills.
” I gave him 8k on the spot and on the second day I gave him the remaining amount of money. The evidence is on my phone, It wasn’t 8k alone,” Kanyari said during a TikTok live.
“How can you lose a friend who can give you 40,000 just like that. Goliath wa Bungoma should have kept me as his friend so that he can call me when he encounters a problem. God had helped him to be connected with me and Kawira. There are people who desire to know me but it is impossible, there have no access to me,” the preacher further said.
He accused Goliath and Mosiria of scheming to taint his name so that he could trend so that he could get a job. According to him, Mosiria was inciting Goliath with questions about being paid at the church
