Actress and Interior Designer Marya Okoth organised a Question and Answer session with her fans and 90% of them wanted to know what exactly happened between her and comedian YY, leading to their break up after being together for about 5 years.

The vibrant actress said that she would only answer the question if YY is present.

“You asked what happened and the answer I am going to give you is I don’t think I’m going to talk about it because am not with him here, If he was here I would answer you but because of the respect I am not going to talk about it. You guys knew us tukiwa pamoja, man of the house, so if he is not here I am not going to talk about. Most of the information on his side is out there,” the mother of one said.

At the same time, she admitted that she is not in a new relationship yet unlike YY who introduced a new girlfriend.

“You are free to use my words against me. I don’t think I will ever do a public relationship again. Hili swali ni gumu. Mnafanya hesabu ya minus kwa maisha yangu. If I had a boyfriend you guys would see signs. If you know signs of a girl who has a boyfriend you would definitely tell if I have a boyfriend or not. Mi sina mtu, I don’t have a boyfriend, let me make it clear,” Marya said.

YY had however previously said that she made peace with Marya after their split so that he doesn’t carry the pain with him in his new relationship.
