Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz is on the receiving end yet again following his meeting with American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo.
The two music icons recently teamed up for Diamond’s Komasava remix together with South African singers Chley and Khalil, leaving fan awed by their captivating blend.
In a video making rounds on social media, Derulo was captured asking Diamond at what time he arrived.
“When did you get in town,” Jason posed.
“2nd, right? 2nd in the morning,” Diamond responded but to many, his statement didn’t seem right, with some believing that he meant 2am.

Amid trolls, his fans have however defended him.
“Whether he knows English or not he is doing an amazing work, mpatie maua yake kiroho safi,” one wrote.

Diamond had a similar encounter previously during Young Famous and African Reality show. Instead of saying he was 31 years old, he had a slip of the tongue and ended up saying 31st years old.
Komasava remix is however is trending online, with more and more fans jumping into the songs challenge. It has now emerged that Kshs24million was spend to produce the master piece.
“The video was shot in different locations by three different video directors. There is a desert scene shot in Dubai, a scene shot in Paris, and another scene featuring both Diamond and Jason, also shot in Dubai,” SK Sallam, Diamond’s manager, revealed.
