Amber Ray and her husband Kennedy Rapudo have expressed displeasure in President Ruto’s move to retain some of the cabinet secretaries from his previous cabinet.
Speaking after attending Churchill Show, the couple noted that protestors were very clear in their message but the head of state had chosen to ignore them.
“I am not happy. That is one of the reasons tumekuja ndio tuchekee hapa, because this is where we can only laugh,” Amber Ray said.
“The Gen Z walikuwa very clear that the swamp must be drained, swamp haijakuwa drained because if you return the old folks inamaanisha Ruto hasikii, we hope either way, we will find a way at the end of the day,” Rapudo added.
Although she is planning to join politics in future, Amber said she would not take a CS position if offered.
“Sahizi no. I am not ready for that. That is a very serious position to be in. For me I will take time to go into what really people need so that I can deliver but sahizi I am not ready so I will not go for it,” the mother of two said.
Rapudo on the other hand expressed confidence in his wife saying that he is sure she can be able to do many things in a political position including changing the lives of the youths and speak on matters regarding women.
“I believe she is more capable so I have always told her whenever she is ready to campaign, I will make sure that the state of the art machinery and you can start campaigning. She always has my support and the support of our family and friends. But for me, politics has always been a no go zone, the pressure that comes with it kidogo nawezabuy Range Rover 23 waseme hio ni tax yetu,” the father of three said.
