Media celebrity and KBC News anchor Shiksha Arora has announced her departure from the station after working for three years.
Shiksha posted an emotional farewell on social media, sharing her conflicted emotions about leaving and her gratitude.
“My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family,” she wrote.
She thanked her viewers and colleagues for joining her on the journey, adding, “We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grew together.”

Throughout her career, Shiksha Arora has played an array of roles and made a big impact on the media.
Shiksha showed her abilities as a TV presenter on K24 at Media Max and as a radio host on East FM at Radio Africa before joining KBC.
Arora’s professional life extends beyond Kenya. Her background in foreign media was further cemented by her time spent working for the BBC and Smoke FM in the United Kingdom.
Arora has made a name for herself in the media as well as as a powerful social media influencer.
Shiksha Arora’s remarkable career is supported by a solid educational background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Biotechnology.
Additionally, she pursued a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Westminster.
Even though Shiksha’s exit from KBC signifies the close of an important chapter, she remains positive and excited for what lies ahead.
In her farewell message, she hinted at new opportunities: “This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited for.”
