Kenyan lawyer, author, and political activist Dr. Miguna Miguna now say he’s being threatened ‘with abduction, torture, and forced exile’.

Sharing in his X account, the lawyer accuses the President for using The National Intelligence Service (NIS) to threatening him.

“Zakayo, tell your NIS dogs that threatening me with abduction, torture and forced exile HARDENS me and causes me to fearlessly champion for your removal. I don’t buy fear. I don’t negotiate over my rights, especially with those who murder unarmed citizens.” Miguna Miguna shared.

He said being threatened only hardens him to continue championing for the removal of President Ruto and his regime from power.

Additionally, Miguna Miguna said he does not negotiate his rights with people who murder unarmed citizens.

The ‘General’ say he fears no one and that the struggle for freedom is inclusive of everyone irrespective of their age, class, race or gender.

“The struggle for freedom doesn’t belong to any generation, class, race, or gender! I’ve been fearless throughout my life.” The author added fearlessly.

Dr. Miguna Miguna has been in the fore front in supporting the move by Kenyan youths to demonstrate against the controversial Finance Bill 2024.

The lawyer was once deported in 2017 for his involvements in the swearing in of Raila Odinga as the people’s president in 2017.

The National Intelligence Service (NIS) is a disciplined civilian intelligence agency established under Article 242 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

The primary function is being responsible for Security Intelligence and Counterintelligence. It also performs other functions prescribed by national legislation.
