Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu mourns with the family of the late Rex Masai donating Ksh. 50,000 and apologizing for not being able to visit them.
In a recorded phone call, Nyamu is heard explaining her reason for not visiting the family even though she would like to.
“Nilikua nataka kukuja sana, lakini security wangu akaniadvice kwa sababu mimi niko upande wa serikali na support serikali nikikuja hapo watu wanaeza kua triggered waone kama mimi ni fans of you know…” she explained.
Confirming if the money she sent was received, the nominated senator promised to visit the family after things have cooled down.
“Nitakuja tu kukuona mkisha zika na mambo ikishaisha… Team yangu tutakuja kukuona baadae tupange mambo ya kazi yako and all that,” she assured.
Moreover, she shared her feelings towards the uncertainty loss of Rex admitting being unsettled in mind. Adding she never wished such to happen.
“Na tunakupenda na tunakufeel. Hio story inanisumbua by the way…hata kama iilikua iende hivo. I wish ingisha kama hakuna mtu yeyote anaumia ama imeende vile ilienda lakini ni mambo ya Mungu.” Nyamu shared.
However, netizens have commented showing mixed reactions on her kind action of supporting the family.

Consequently, the Senator was recently banned on WhatsApp for being texted constantly by many people. This is due to her number being shared on social media by Kenyans questioning her why she supports the Finance Bill.
Nyamu firmly supports the Government and the finance bill despite facing criticism from her followers in the socials.
