Renowned media personality and comedian Dr. Ofweneke has called upon preachers to offer support to Pastor Kanyari rather than publicly criticizing him.

In a his appeal, Dr. Ofweneke highlighted the importance of compassion and understanding in the religious community.

“I’ve heard a lot of pastors who are calling out Kanyari,” Dr. Ofweneke stated.

He then continued saying, “Guys, there could be something that is happening and we are enjoying not taking a keen interesting in it. This gentleman could actually not be okay.”

Dr. Ofweneke likened Kanyari’s current state to a volcanic eruption, suggesting that Kanyari’s recent actions might be the result of prolonged pressure.

“The gentleman could actually be a volcano that just erupted after a lot of pressure from back in the days until now,” he explained.

In his message directed at preachers whom he referred to as the “fathers of the land, the mothers of the land, and the gatekeepers,” Dr. Ofweneke urged them to take a more personal and empathetic approach.

“If this video gets to you, kindly stop ignoring what is happening to this gentleman. Please reach out to Pastor Kanyari instead of calling him out from the pulpit.”

He went on further advising religious leaders on how they should approach this issue.

“Meet him at his level, man to man, stand with a fellow man, go and cover Kanyari and pray for him,” he advised.

Dr. Ofweneke’s comments come at a time when Pastor Kanyari has been the subject of scrutiny and criticism from various quarters within the religious community and the public at large.

People reacted differently to Ofweneke’s message to preachers some of the comments includes,

“So happy Ofweneke, I think we are the only two people thinking together, this guy might be suffering from rejection #men mental health awareness.”

Another person who also commented on the same said,

“He is a comedian… nothing much to it… he never expected criticism hence he blow up …he knows what he is doing.”

By calling for a more supportive and understanding approach, Dr. Ofweneke hopes to foster a spirit of unity and compassion among religious leaders.
