Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has come out to condemn the act of those leaking his photos with the alleged side chic Mary Biketi .
Oparanya who is currently in Mombasa confirmed that the pictures are genuine and decent. He added that he does not understand why someone would circulate those pictures to the press.
“I have seen someone circulating my photos, genuine photos. Those are very genuine photos. I don’t know why someone would waste time trying to circulate them but it is unfortunate they leaked it to the press. Those are very decent photos and I don’t know the interest that people have,” Oparanya said.
Biketi, aged 31, has been sharing studio portraits featuring herself alongside the former governor, adding fuel to the curiosity surrounding their connection. Their candid moments together have sparked discussions and debates across social media platforms.
In one of the photos, Oparanya is captured standing side to side with the alleged lover and displaying affection by holding her waist. In the other photo, the veteran politician is captured in a conversation with Biketi while sitting in a bar-like setting.
Oparanya has two wives Carolyn and Priscilla Oparanya and has identified as a polygamous man.
The pictures officially posted by Mary Biketi herself on her facebook page confirms that she indeed is in a relationship with the former Kakamega Governor.
She put them after the other pictures were leaked by the studio where they were taking the pictures.
The governor however continued to dispel rumours of him being sick asserting that he is healthy and he has a family to protect.
“There is now fake news that I’m in hospital ,I’m sick and here i am, i have a family to protect and i have a big family.” He confirmed.
The Governor also urged people to stop sending out fake news and that he is very well currently in Mombasa meting people from his community and that he has no problem.
