Nigerian actress, singer and dancer Korra Obidi has claimed that she was attacked with a knife and acid while in London.
The incident occurred on Thursday when she was on a live video as she left her short stay apartment in London, UK where she is currently on vacation.
In the video that has widely been circulated online, Korra was accosted when she got to the exit of the apartment.
“You scared me,” she said before the attacker pounced on her.
“What have I done to you,” she could be heard as the camera went off but the live stream continued.
After a lot of struggle, well wishers came to her rescue as her attacker sped off. She later found her phone and asked for coke to wash her face so that she could neutralise the effect of the substance that was poured on her.
According to her, she was attacked with salicylic acid. Those who were following the live video were extremely worried about her safety and advised her to visit a hospital.
Others put her in prayers hoping that she would come out of it safely.
A section of other netizens however claim that the whole incident was stage managed and it was all about content creation. Here are some of their reactions;
