Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian superstar has broken millions of hearts after she revealed that she had been forced to take a break from music due to her ailing vocal codes.
Tiwa took to her Instagram account to break the news to the fans. She stated that she had been battling off an un named virus for weeks and it was not until Tuesday 10\18\2023 that her doctor firmly instructed her to take a strict vocal rest for a few months.
The songbird explained that due to her condition she would be forced to postpone all her performances including the much awaited headline arena show in London. She expressed her heartbreak and devastation stating that the break was necessary for her to save what was left of her voice.
The ”Eminado” hitmaker apologized to her supporters before promising to be back on stage as soon as she felt better.
”To my dear savage soldiers, I’ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months. I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first ever headline arena show in London. I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice. I’m sorry. I love you all and I promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed.” She posted.

Tiwa however restricted the comment section hence netizens could neither air out their opinions on postponement of the shows nor send quick recovery wishes to the superstar.
Her announcement comes barely weeks after she performed in Kenya for the Keep Walking Johnnie Walker campaign. We send all the best wishes to Tiwa and we cannot wait for her to bounce back.
