Coast-based singer Nyota Ndogo has come out to say she does not pity herself because of her physical appearance.
The watu na viatu singer responded to the haters online who claim she is not beautiful. She clapped back at the haters in a Facebook post captioned that she did not feel sorry about her looks which her “Mzungu” hubby fell in love with. She also added that it is not her fault she looks the way she does.
“Sauti na sura haziambatani! ! Kabisa , sauti inamtoa nyoka pangoni , but sura inamrudisha nyoka pangoni. Sura ni ya Ken Wa Maria. Huna nguo zingine jameni ? Nice song anyway. The only positive thing from you…….JAMANI MIMI SIKUJIUMBA.NA PIA MUME WANGU HALALAMIKI KUA ANALALA NA ZOMBI..” she wrote

The singer is currently married to a Danish man by the name, Henning Nielsen. Henning and Nyota Ndogo’s wedding took place on 22nd May 2016. However, there are no details about how, when and where they first met.
At the time of their wedding, the singer had separated from her ex-husband for eight years, while Henning had separated from his ex-wife for 24 years.
