Its is just hours before legendary musicians Wahu Kagwi and David Mathenge alias Nameless mark 18 years of Marriage.
Wahu and Nameless met at the University of Nairobi in the late 90s. Nameless was studying architecture while Wahu was pursuing a course in Mathematics. They later tied the knot in September 2005 and have since been blessed with three beautiful girls.
As their anniversary date draws close, Wahu playfully teased fans with the announcement on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.
“Today is the last day of Nameless and I being married…” she began off.
In her next story, she however completed her statement saying that it is their last day of 17 years of marriage and that they are now entering their 18th year.
“For 17 years, tomorrow will mark 18 years. Did I fool you?” she playfully said.
She went ahead to say that during their first four years in marriage she was sure that the union wouldn’t last.
“I can’t believe it, a whole adult. Yet huko year 3 year 4 I was sure hii kitu haiwezi make weeueh,” she wrote.
“We’ve had our very very lows, our very very highs and inbetweens. We’ve learnt a lot over the years for sure, we will find away to share some of our learnings but one of the lesson lesson I can say and cannot over emphasize is if both of you are working to become better versions of yourselves it gets better and better,” Wahu added.
