Samidoh’s first wife Edday Nderitu has come out to clarify several things that her co-wife Karen Nyamu said in a recent interview with Ala C.

Nderitu refuted claims that she was in a polygamous marriage saying that she left the Mugithi singer for her colleague.

“Let me clarify a few things that were shared online and not accurate. I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated. I left the husband to whoever needed him more,” the mother of three stated on Facebook.

According to her she decided to quit the relationship because it was toxic and her teenage daughter was the most affected. She also denied claims of being financed by Samidoh.

“I made the decision to remove my self and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately was the direct recipient of unbelievable behavior displayed. I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I am not regretting any bit of it,” Nderitu wrote

On the matter of her and her children being in contact with Samidoh, Nderitu said that she is not aware of it

“About video calls I will leave that one because some people seem to be present when that happening but I am not aware,” she said.

The mother of three further said that she doesn’t need drama in her new life and hoped that her name will be left out in the next time.

During the interview, the nominated senator claimed that Nderitu was in contact with Samidoh despite moving to US. According to her, Samidoh had been having video calls with Nderitu’s children in her presence.

She also noted that she only wants her children to be recognized and that she had no bad intentions with Samidoh’s other family.

“Had things been done the way I wanted, I would never be known that I am Samidoh’s baby mama, but I did whatever I did to make sure that my kids were recognised,” she said.
