Kenyan musician, entrepreneur and brand Influencer is set to graduate from Mt. Kenya University this December.

Akothee has expressed much anticipation for the big day, judging from her recent post on social media.

The mother of five shared a notice to  MKU 2023 graduands on directions regarding picking and returning of gowns

“Please note that graduation gowns will be issued from the 27th of November 2023 to the 6th of December 2023 to those of the final graduation list. They will be collected from the respective deans  of schools at the main campus, Thika  and from exam offices  in the respective campuses during office hours. The hired gowns must be returned on or before 22nd December 2023. Any de;ay in returning the gown  will attract a daily charge of Kshs500,” the notice read.

Reacting to the notice, Akothee however said that she will overstay with the gown for a month, saying that the five hundred daily charge is not a problem for her.

“Auu I can’t believe I did it . Hii gown nikichukua. Nitarudisha 22nd January hiyo 500 per day sio ishu 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.I can’t wait for my big day haki 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Have you seen my name on the graduation list ? Tag me please 🙏Masomo muhimu,” an excited Akothee wrote.

Akothee returned to Mt. Kenya University a few years back to complete Bachelor of Business Management, a course that she started approximately 14 years ago.

The sweet love singer was even forced to postpone her honeymoon after her April wedding to sit for her final exams.

“You can hire me after August. It’s been a journey…14 years in University, I will be back once I am done. My last paper is on Saturday 6.00 pm,” she said then.

Her estranged husband, Denis Schweizer aka Omosh would accompany her to the institution and wait for her until she concluded her exams.
